Promoting your Business Through Image Sharing Sites

Posted by JasonB on May 14, 2010

Many companies find it hard to believe that they can benefit from image sharing sites.
Why should a B2B company use image sites?

Posting an image online not only increases your company’s search engine ranking and visibility online, it also provides resources for other professionals who are looking for content for a research document, or visual aid.
[Images can range from company logos, to charts, to simple "How To" checklists]

Watch as Gateway partner, Jason Bahnak, explains how to successfully promote your business through image sharing sites.

Have all bases covered with social media. Decorating forums, Twitter, FaceBook, LinkedIn. Worked my rear off to ensure that I am known as online persona “funcolors” and a well-established expert in my industry.

I never thought about how Flickr could drive traffic back to my website and blog. I invest heavily in creating images for every blog post – time and sometimes money. I take care to give each photo a title and/or keywords in the caption in hopes that someone or something will find them.

I’m going to group together a few select images from Color Budz and upload to Flickr. I really want to see what happens. Thanks for the info, JasonB. You do a great job on the vids too, btw.
